I put my trail cam up last night. The cold weather froze it up but I managed to get some good cam shots. As u can see one is still carring head gear. Pay no attention to the date. Had cam out the night before it froze up after 2 pics and had to replase the batteries.

Hey redmist you should see the herds around these parts, 100s in groups looking for something to eat and hopeing not to be eaten by yotes.

Haven't been out yet. To friggin cold and windy.. And not enough time either. hopefully this weekend I can go for a walk.. I haven't seen many big deer in these herds, most are about the same size as the one in the pic.

There is a herd west of town 4 miles that has been on average 600 plus. A buddy of mine has been out looking for sheds and not finding much. 90 % of these deer are does and fawns.

This herd at town is starting to spred out, there were just over 200, 2 weeks ago.

Good pictures. Hopefully the farmer got most of the grain hauled out before these guys got into it.

Good pics PB...they sure do group up in the south. I've seen more deer this winter than I ever have down there, they must come from a long way to gather up.

they do come from a good ways, but we have way to many deer in this area. all does and fawns, the bucks never have time to grow much bigger than 140. yes there are bigger but good luck finding them. any given day during hunting season I can find 50 to 100 deer, mules and white in the same area all the time.

We have about 100+ in the feed yard everynight also.Kinda gets annoying as every time i come home i just about hit another 4-5 deer.
