Me and a couple buddies were thinking of heading over to Saskatchewan in a few weeks to hunt some snows. We were just wondering what kind of e-caller is the best for your dollar and what kind of decoys would be the best. We don't have any snow decoys just a lot of full body canadas, would it work if we put those stretchee white glad bags ove top of them? Just a thought. Any tips would be muchly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know about the "best caller" but I would be careful on the decoys. I am pretty sure it is all white snow goose decoys only allowed. No canada's, whitefronts or ross.

Actually how it is now in the spring and will be for the fall of 2009 is that you can have only snow goose decoys. Which include adult and juvenile blues, ross, and snows.
You can not have canada goose, specs (whitefronts), duck or crane decoys in your spread if you are using a e-caller.
this is how I understand the current law.

You may want to wait to set up for them on sunday..I wrote to serm about that very thing since the new synopsis wasn't out yet.Basically put, same rules apply for spring snow goose as last year EXCEPT sunday hunting. They claimed it hadn't been passed just yet,so 08 rules apply..Unless you've heard different?

I called the Saskatoon office and they told me sunday hunting has been passed. Saskatoon office received the confirmation of Sunday hunting Friday April 3rd at 11:30 am.
Prior to calling the Saskatoon office to I received a email from Marvin Hlady from SERM. I had emailed Marvin a few days before in regards to the Sunday hunting.
What office have you been in touch with?
