I'm new to the site and wanted to say-- keep the photos and stories coming of those big Sask Bucks. I'm way south, in Florida, but love the thought of getting into some Canadian big boys one of these days.

We don't grow the deer too big down here, but I'll still brag about a 100" buck around here------no laughing eh? Our deer eat palmettos, a few acorns and some twigs. I did plant some soybeans for the deer-- just in time for bow season.

I look forward to hearing about everyone's season.

Later,

Spring Tom

Venison here doesn't taste too bad, but it won't compare to a doe from farm country. Our deer are lean. When I get to hunt in Georgia is about the only time I see that layer of fat on the deer. Put it this way, if I killed a 185 pound buck people would be shocked. I have one in my little area, but don't tell anyone. I call him rackzilla, because for this area HE IS THE MAN.

I'm more kidding about the size of deer here, people usually come here to go to the beach, fish, hogs, gators, amusement parks, etc. There are good places to hunt, they are getting to be fewer because everyone from up north is tired of shoveling snow.
