So who was successful with their bows in 2006. Interested in pictures and stories? I can't wait until Spring Bear.

Very nice, I love those stickers. My dream Mule is a 200" heavy 4x4 square frame with 6 to 8- 2 1/2 " stickers on both sides, I would kill for one of those. LOL.

While I was scouting, a nice Sika bull with grass in his horns(rutting)came in so I couldn't help myself! Then, a nice North Texas whitetail. The rest of my time in the field, I was guiding. (Guiding is hunting without having to pay the taxidermy bill). Ever seen a Sika? They are called Japanese Elk sometimes, just smaller body than our Elk, and they're dark brown, almost black. Bulls sound like our Elk cows. The horns are fine and normal is 8 points. Beautiful animal.

I remember that deer you got last fall that you posted on the other now defunct forum. I enjoyed watching your video again. That was a truly awesome buck, congrats.:thumbs_up :shade: You should have a good chance at biggest typical of the year at the SBA awards show this month.

You should have a good chance at biggest typical

SBA record for typical w.t. is 170 even, so you should have a new #1, right?
