I just finished eating my LAST package of deer ribs.
Everyone gives them to me as they do not eat them.
Simple recipe :
Brown the ribs in a frying pan with garlic powder, pepper and greek seasoning.
Fill a roaster 1/3 full with water, add worchestershire sauce, teriyaki sauce, garlic (I used crushed from a jar), Bullseye BBq sauce, more pepper and greek seasoning. Stir very well and add the ribs, some mushrooms and onions (lots or to taste).
Cover and put in the oven on 350 C for 4 hours.
Drain off some of the fat/juices, then add enough water so the ribs are 1/2 submerged and spread more Bullseye BBQ sauce over the ribs.
Cover and put back in the oven for anothe 3-4 hours on 200 C.
The meat literally falls off the bones and tastes AWESOME!!!!!
If you could only be here to taste them, YUMMY!

Anybody have deer, or better yet moose ribs they wanna give to razor? :D

I love those deer ribs also but i will have to try that recipe it sounds real
good. I usually just barbeque them with lots of BBQ sauce, and cook them
real slow.

interesting recipe razor. I have never been fond of ribs, as I have found them to taste of tallow. I usually just bone them out. I might have to give it a try.

Generally we never keep the ribs, they are just boned out and the meat goes into the sausage bucket. I might have to keep a rack (a la Fred Flinstone) next fall.
