Warning!

After folding last years Illinois Combination License in half and leaving it in my wallet, the two sides stuck together. They were so completely bonded that the whole thing fell apart when I tried to separate the two halves.

My supposed solution for this years' license: Thermal laminate the damned thing.

Result: It turned black. The whole "Sportsmans License" is black and unreadable.

This is what I think of their crappy license :fart:

Now I have to go and get it replaced and of course it will cost me money.:thumbs_do

I have always thought a hunting license or fishing license should be funtional, an able to withstand the conditions...

I ran last years ohio licence through the washing machine and it was just fine afterwards

Thats funny, I washed mine once too. It left all my tags in a mush:angry: . I put the mush in my wallet, and that way and hunted all year. I, at least had them on me.

You may want to check into a replacement. Here, they sell them for $10.00. Then, carry it in a small zip lock like you get buttons in on new clothes.

Well I went and got my replacement today. It was just as I had suspected... It cost me money, $12.00 to be exact. Of course I argued that no warning had been issued in any way. Not at the retailer (where I'm a regular by the way),
not in the regs book and not on the license itself. No matter, it was still my fault.:52:

On the up-side the Illinois DNR actually had all of my license information, special stamps included in their database. At least something went right.:thumbs_up
