I needed new waders for this open water season along with a new pair of boots. I made a video to show the new stuff off but forgot to mention the waders model. They are Simms, G3 guide stocking foot waders.

Your summer system looks like it will be a perfect winter yak system for me:thumbs_up . You shouldn't have any problem getting an interview with the new Cabela's with a quality demo tape like that one. ;)

Outstanding video. Very informative. Couldn't get that kind of product info if I paid for it. Thanks, Osprey.

I am kicking around the boots. Built in gaiters sorta work on my frogg togg canyons.
I get a lot of sand and sharps in thru weep drains. I plugged with old round hd shoestring with good results. You really need kneepads though on the fab fox.
My kneecap was chirping watching the vid.

Wow. Frogg Togg waders are real sensitive to heat and sparks. Might be flammable.
Just a heads up. Need to research more....Nice hole from small spark or molten fireline.

I haven't done nearly as much wading as I thought I would this year.
The focus in '07 has been on the big trips... I have one more coming up, maybe two. I've seen little river action lately nut now I'm wet wading. It's just too hot for me this time of year to be in any kind of wader, breathable or whatever.
It will have to wait until the Fall, then I'll be donning the waders for sure.

So far so good, they're comfortable and stay dry on Long wades. warm weather is no problem with these waders. :thumbs_up

Thanks for the info. I have been soliciting Darth for some info lately. I live right next to the river, but never really get out in the cooler months.
