New to fishing

Hello , i am just starting to fish and looking for tips as to what time to fish, whats best bait, that sort of thing, were i live in Fresno ca we have a few lakes and if you live near or in Fresno please give me more fishing places lol i just starting so need lots of tips and help k thanks a bunch , email is thewisebear@sbcglobal.net and thats the same for my yahoo ID .

Welcome to the site Wisebear, California is a great place to fish. There are alot of people here who could definitely help you out, but you need to tell us what type of fish that you want to target. As of right now I would check over all of the posts on here and these will help you out alot, some really nice articles.
