The plastic minnow comes in all different shapes an sizes all work very well
i pick colors depending on water clarity and forage in that body of water i am fishing.
I try to get away with the lightest heads possible but there is one
more trick that i almost all ways do before i use. Starting with a slight bigger
bait then i want i trim it down or trim 2 perfection as i call it here are a few
pics of how i do this...

No... We want more pictures!! Ha.

Nice T-ip

I have found nothing beats a swim bait at times... i dont use the finesse minnows much at all but i've seen what that perch flavor can do and has got me interested.

What kind of jig heads do you use..? What mfgr, that is.

I have always bit off the head end and thumb nailed out a divot in the body to make more hook gap as well. Here I thought I was the only modifier around.:)

Interesting:) Makes for a large bait. Big bait, big fish.I could see this being a pike favourite.
