I was just at a sports show in Bozeman Montana, there were outfitters from Africa there. I talked to one fellow who seemed to be a real good guy! His company is Eitaalo hunting safaris, email: farm.hhqs@iway.na website: www.eitaalohuntingsafaris.com

That all depends! What typ of hunt would you like? Plainsgame or Dangerous game? And what country do you want to hunt?
I know a few good ones in every major safari country

That is one of my dream hunts. Some day. Hope you can get there. A frend of mine had a friend go over a few years back. Cost him 10 grand and that didn't include the licences. You decided what you wanted to hunt there. The bigger the animal the more $$$$$$. Cabela outfitters is probably your best contact.

I would go to a few SCI banquets and get recommendations.I went to Zimbabwe but it is not real safe there now.You wont get much of a dangerous game hunt for 10 G but you will have a great time plains game hunting .All most to much fun!!!!

Thanks for the tips. I would be going on a plains game hunt in a waterhole, bowhunt situation. I have checked out alot of outfitters so far and the trophy fees and such for your smaller game are not too pricey but add ur flights, taxid, etc. and it gets up there,Ha. I heard a rumour that there is a booking agency in the prov that will help ya?

I was just at the Harrisburg Sportsmen show in Pennsylvania less than two weeks ago, there was 120 african outfitters there. We had it narrowed down to 4 outfitters after 2 days of talking to a number or them and I booked day before yesterday for april of 2009. We are pumped and can hardly wait, if you want more info please PM me.

Oh yes! If you want a 5 star everything, LIMCROMA SAFARIS in South Africa is the place to go. My friend and Professional Hunter Hannes Els, owns and runs this show and it is the very best of any hunt I have been on. I also learned more about hunting while I was there than I did in all the other years combined I've been a hunter. I was spoiled badly, as I was treated like a Queen while there. They are very, very, detail oriented with lodging, food, and the hunting experiences. I made life long friends there. Everything from lodging and trophy animals are the best Africa has to offer. If you watch hunting shows, Ted Nugent did 10 shows at Hannes place. I saw him on TV a few weeks ago, and he's signed up with Gander Mountain, but let me get his e-mail and give it to you. Or, he has a website www.limcroma.com or limcroma@tiscali.co.za His cell is: 011 27 836270350
He picks you up at the airport and returns you after the hunt. Make him take you to the flea market on the way back. The ranch is located in the Limpopo Province and is on the river that borders South Africa and Botswana.
Here's a good travel agency for Africa: Custom Travel/Debbie 800-728-5301
If you would rather hunt out of Capetown, I have a friend there as well. Some of the game animals are different in the different areas, so if there is an animal you especially want, let me know and I'll see which place has the best of that animal. I can't recommend Limcroma highly enough. The other place is Stromberg Eligani Safaris. Murray Danqwurts. Another family owned and run business.
P.S. When I go for Cape Buff, Hannes WILL be the guy with a gun behind me. He is the very best shot Ive ever seen in my life. I've taken him hog hunting with us. He's way good at everything and I have total confidence in him backing me up. He's excellent with a bow and a gun. Not bad to look at either.
