Little Bit Of History

Has anyone ever heard or seen this before?I found this dated 1954 called the (Conservation Pledge=I give my pledge as a Canadian,to save and faithfully to defend from waste,the natural resources of my country,its soils and minerals,its forests,waters and wildlife.)I thought it to be rather interesting and very true.
