well we finally made it out there fishing. It wasnt bad caught a few smaller walleye and pike. Does anyone know if there are any perch? Very cool lake to fish though, lots of drop offs and holes. Really nice area, might have to make a few more trips out that way.

should be perch there, we stocked it about 5 years ago, I have heard of them beeing caught as big as 1.7 lbs.

Fisheries is suppose to test net this summer, I will have to phone them and see if it has happened yet.

pm hunterforlife and see if he has been out lately.

I have only heard of 1 or 2 perch a year being caught there, I'm sure a few more are caught that I don't hear about, but I wouldn't say there is a healthy pop. in the lake. It was only stocked once with perch 5 or 6 years ago and not very many were put in. I heard or read ( not sure of the source, so may be complete BS), but when you stock, you lose half the pop. right away, then half of the remaining half then next year, and so on and so on. If thats true there may be 30-50 perch in the whole lake, again, I have no proof of this theory, just heard it somewhere.
